Shooting Stars
What are shooting stars?
Shooting Stars are tiny bits of space particles (Rock, medal,or dust) that enter earths atmosphere at a fast speed. That being said, shooting stars are not even stars,but they apper to look like stars because they burn up, and egnite in earths atmopshere. If a shooting star can make it to the ground, which is a rare accourence, it is called a meteorite.
Viewing
Shooting stars are great to see.Some people enjoy seeing them and it is breathtaking if you see one. The best time to see a shooting star is to go to a dark area, away from city lights and a mass amount of light Polution. Look at the horison and you have a good chance of seeing a shooting star.
Shooting stars through the years
On April 15, 1912(the night of the titanic sinking), People watched as a meotor shower exploded in the night sky. The people watched and thought that it was the souls of their loved ones who had died in
the ships drowning,passing into heaven.
